Hentai Plus Overview
They claim more than 5 gigabytes of hentai available for download at Hentai Plus. That’s a pretty good number and at this point I have no reason to believe they can’t pull it off. The one page tour is stuffed with fantastic hentai pictures so you have to believe they have at least a little more of that on the inside. They even sneak in a few images that aren’t in the traditional anime style, like the few shots of Lara Croft at the bottom of the page.
Hentai is cool because the illustrators can dream up anything and everything. I’m not a fan of the more extreme stuff they do (animals; no thanks) but I do like that they can involves aliens and stuff like that to really let your mind run wild and down into the fantasy world. One of the things promised by Hentai Plus is free access. They even read the cookies on your machine and pull up your city name under the heading “Free Passwords to People From.” I’ll have a report on whether it’s free in the body of the review.

You can get a one day trial membership free of charge but after that day has ended your credit card will be billed for $40 and billed again every 30 days. It’s pretty standard practice in the adult industry, although most sites don’t offer a free trial. As far as I can tell the trial allows you access to everything so it’s worth it to have a look around. When you get your confirmation email make sure you’ve kept track of when you signed up so you don’t get billed if you’re not interested. You’ll also notice that they sign you up for free trials to two other sites as well unless you uncheck the box.

So what kind of content do you get in the member’s area? The best part of the collection is the downloadable videos. There are more than 100 of them and you can either pull them down to your hard drive or stream them. Even the downloadable files are Flash based, which leaves them at a slightly lower quality than would be ideal. You can bump them to full screen but they don’t quite look good enough. Nevertheless this is one of the better hardcore hentai video collections on the web. You’ll find action in a bunch of hot categories including schoolgirls, bondage, alien sex, guy-girl, anal, shemales and lesbians.
You also get access to a nice set of picture galleries that should satisfy your urge. The images are smaller than would be ideal at 640x480 (for the most part) so you’ll probably find yourself wishing for something better in that department. Nevertheless, the width and breadth of the collection is impressive. The adult comic books are my favorite section, what with the effort that clearly went into the writing and coloring of the panels. They look good, the characters in them look good and the action is steaming hot. Members also get access to nice selection of non-hentai sites. They’re not high quality but they’re good enough to get you hard.
Conclusion
The question ultimately boils down to whether Hentai Plus is worth the $40 you’ll have to pay as a member. I think it probably is worth it for the first month. You get 30 days to download the entire collection of porn and check out all the picture galleries and comics you can handle. If you choose to go longer than that you’re still going to have a good time but you’re probably wasting your money. If you’re a hentai fan you really should take advantage of the free trial for a sample of the goodies.
