What do you think when you hear the site title Messy Comics? The first image that comes to mind for me is a site focused on lots of cumshots. That would be the messy part. Imagine my surprise when I visited Messy Comics and found that the title was utterly meaningless. I’m not really sure why they chose the word messy to describe their content and I don’t really care. That’s because they did some pretty amazing stuff with the tour and already I’m excited to get inside and see what else they have in store.
They’ve animated the tour and it’s awesome. When you mouse over certain images they’ll start to move so what seemed like a still picture of a chick riding a cock soon becomes an animated gif of her pussy getting plugged with dick and white juices spraying from it. Members Area of the Messy Comics Site
I really like what they’ve done with the member’s area. The colors are a good choice and the content is laid out succinctly and smartly. The latest updates are featured as soon as you log in and so you find out pretty quick that they don’t update very often. In the last three days they’ve added three sets and in the four months previous they added one. Those aren’t good numbers but we can hope that the new addition rate is what they’ll stick to in the future. They also have a list of the most popular comics as determined by the members. I’m a little disappointed to say that the animated porn seen on the tour was a ruse. They don’t have anything like that in the member’s area. It’s either a Flash movie that is far too slow to be enjoyed properly or static pictures. Neither is terrible but I was hoping for something a little different than what all other cartoon porn sites offer. There are 149 comics and eight Flash movies for a decent total, although it pales in comparison to what other sites in the genre offer.
The comics have 10-20 pictures each and few have dialogue. Most are simply hot pictures that leave you to insert a story. Or you can just enjoy the artwork. There are a number of drawing styles employed from anime to American comic to over the top silly looking. Some have a distinctly gritty look that I like. It lends the comic a little heaviness that works really well. There’s a section labeled bonus but it’s currently empty. It’s annoying to be teased like that. The forum is accessible to all members and you can chat with the developers and artists, request a specific set you’d like to see and more.
Conclusion
The tour for Messy Comics makes it seem like you’re getting a series of animated gifs that take the comic porn genre to the next level. Sadly, that is not the case. Instead you’re getting access to a fairly hot site that offers the same kind of comic porn every other site in the genre has. The only difference here is that there’s less of it. The Flash comic porn movies are somewhat unique but they’re so damn slow it’s unbearable. I don’t need a five second pan across the screen. It only makes my boner deflate! In short, this is an average site.
